The Certified Voice Artist Program celebrated its first anniversary on Father’s Day, June 20, 2021, with the theme “May The Voice Be With You,” inspired by Star Wars.
The event was hosted by Pau Castillo, Bryan Dave Perez, Kate De Vera, and JM Salamat, who are alumni of CVAP and were also trained by the Voice Master, Pocholo De Leon Gonzales. Over a hundred people inside and outside the country took part in the unforgettable event.
Moreover, the director and co-founder of CVAP, Nikie Esmero, talked about how they want to change the Voice Industry, and make it accessible to everyone who wishes to become a voice artist and join what they call the CVAP Family. With their passion, trust, and dedication, they have produced over 360 Certified Voice Artists around the globe in the span of 1 year, and are now celebrating the CVAP first anniversary!
The CVAs continuously inspiring and motivating the next generation of Voice Artists. The top 20 or the T20 of CVAP shared their journey towards being a voice artist and how they were inspired by the CVAP Mantra, “Someone out there needs to hear my Voice”. Most CVAs tell us that their lives are now filled with passion and determination, compared to how they used to be. One of the people who received the award was Danny “Ama” Mandia, The Father of Modern Filipino Dubbing, who is also the mentor of the Voice Master. He spoke words of inspiration and shared his Voice Artistry experience on the night of the event.
Before ending the first anniversary of CVAP, the Voice Master gave a short and sweet message to fellow Voice Artists and congratulated all CVAs.
Indeed, many lives were changed and many souls were motivated by the Voice Master, and as the Certified Voice Artists always say, “Someone out there needs to hear our Voice”.
