Hello everybody!
Sept.11 was the 2nd day of CVAP. That is the Certified Voice Artist Program. My mind was added with more learnings! We discussed about developing your voice and voice variety. I've also learned the two types of voice acting or voice artist, the voice over and the character voice. We discussed a lot more of things such as the formula in creating character voices. It is also important we learned about proper voice care.
There is also a saying by the voice master himself, one of his Pochology "Our voice is not just a gift, it is a choice. I completely agree with this. It is my choice as well to join CVAP and develope my skill to use my voice as a tool to help those in need of a voice.
Basically, when l become a voice artist, l must put in mind not to think highly of the money but just enjoy using your voice coz it's your gift. Money will just come.
When recording, it is also important that you won't have or minimum noise background. To get a great recording, you also need to prepare by reading ahead the script as a voice warm up. Read and practice before recording. Another thing is a tip on food and drinks to avoid because these are harmful to your voice. And a lot more knowledge... Then ofcourse, we have the day 2 assignments.
Day 2 was a success! Looking forward to more in the next weeks to come.
