Alright, Day 2 na ng Certified Voice Artist Program! Mag-ingay mga voicemates!
Char, taas ng energy ah. Ganyan kase talaga pag naka-move on na. Char ulet.
Anyway, compared last week e mas ganado ako sa workshop ngayon. Tho same pa rin na 'di ako nakatulog nang maayops at inaantok ako, mas okay ang disposition ko ngayon.
The past week has been so busy. I have been preparing my CVAP assignments. Record dito, record doon. Pero masaya siya, kase I'm doing what I love. Tas nostalgic din kase ginagawa namin 'to nung college.
Anyway, the session today was loaded. It started around 9:20 in the morning, Prayer muna tas pinakilala ang guest co-host, si Ms. Christa, also known as XtaVoice. Then nagkumustahan with voicemates. Nakakatuwang makita ulit mga voicemates ko.
Si Joshua Simeon pala ang speaker namin today. Kilala ko siya, fina-follow ko siya sa TikTok. Nakaka-wow naman yung sample works ni Kuya Joshy. He also shared important tips para maging isang effective na Certified Voice Artist. Thank you so much Joshy, those are all noted.
Si Sir Choy naman na ang nagbigay ng talk. As usual, motivational talaga mga shine-share ni Sir.
"Have the heart of a lion, vision of an eagle, and attack like a hornet."
Sir Choy also reiterated the importance of not making money as your motivation. Dapat talaga i-improve mo ang sarili and money will just follow.
Developing our voice was also tackled by Sir Choy. We learned a lot about voice variety and their three main elements: pitch, volume, and tempo.
After lunch, diniscuss ulit ni Sir Rich yung sa developing your voice. While Sir Jeff talked about proper voice care. Marami yung maninibago raw kase may mga dapat talagang i-avoid para ma-preserve yung boses. Pero saken goods lang kase matagal naman na 'kong 'di nainom ng kape at iba pang dapat iwasan.
Si Ms. Nikie naman ay nag-discuss tungkol sa Finding Your Niche. Doon ko nga na-confirm na mas komportable ako sa voice-over (VO) kesa character voice. Pero gustong-gusto kong mag-improve sa character voice.
Nagkaron kami ng activity, kung saan magsusulat kami ng script para AVP ng buhay namin tas we have to present it creatively. Isa ako sa representatives ng group namin pero I wasn't confident with how I presented my work. However, I was glad that some liked how I wrote my script.
Day 2 was a blast. Andaming learnings. I can't wait for Day 3. See ya!
