Nagising ako nang sakto lang sa oras. Alas siyete a kinse. Medyo inaantok pa nga 'ko gawa ng 'di makatulog kagabi. Andami kasing bumabagabag sa isip ko nun. Marami ring emosyon akong nararamdaman. Pano ba kasi makatulog e heartbroken ka na nga tas unang araw pa ng workshop mo kinabukasan?

Hindi ako nakapag-breakfast nang maayos kahit na medyo maaga naman akong nagising. Uminom lang ako ng de-kartong gatas--meganurn?
Around 9:15 ng umaga nagbukas ang Zoom room (wow, rhyming). Wow ulet, andami namin. Mahigit singkwenta yata agad kaming naroon. Si Sir Rich pala ulit ang host tas si Sir Jeff. Sila rin kasi yung hosts namin kagabi sa Orientation and Acquaintance Party. Nagkaron ng opening prayer, tas motivational speeches from former CVAP attendees na ngayon e Certified Voice Artists na. Medyo nahirapan din akong mag-catch up nung una kase pawala-wala internet namin, pero buti naman smooth na noong kalaunan.
Nakilala namin si AiVoice, ang ganda at ang galing niya. Nakaka-inspire, gusto ko rin maging inspiring na voice artist tulad niya.
We also had a chance to meet other batchmates/voicemates, tumawag ng names randomly sina Sir Rich tas nagpakilala yung mga natawag. It was nice meeting new people from different ages and from different walks of life. Eto yung gusto ko sa mga gatherings (ket virtual lang), yung nakakakilala ka ng bagong mga kaibigan.
Minutes later, medyo inaantok na ko… PERO! Nawala ito nang ipakilala na si Sir Pocholo. Grabe nawala talaga yung antok ko after seeing Sir Pocholo live on my screen--OMG. Nag-share si Sir Choy ng kanyang mga karanasan at mga mahahalagang payo.
What really struck me are these: “Someone out there needs to hear your voice,” and “Now is the only time you own and if you owned it, you actually won.”
Nakakamangha talaga yung mga nagawa at patuloy na ginagawa ni Sir Choy para sa kapwa. Kung hindi rin dahil sa kanya, wala ako sa CVAP ngayon. Naalala ko tuloy nung nag-comment ang CreatiVoices sa Tiktok ko dati. <3
Anyway, nag-lunch kami tas habang lunch time e nagpe-play ang videos ng mga kwento ng buhay ng mga CVA. Lalong nakaka-inspire. Soon, I’ll be an inspirational icon too, char.
Ayun, nagkaron kami ng activity. Hinati kami into groups, randomly. Napunta ako sa Breakout Room 2, wherein I met Mark, Sophia, Jovel, Raffy, Rizaly, Nikko, Ahava, Jessieca and CVA mentor Francis. Ang napili naming leader e si Mark, who we later called Tito Mark or Angkol Mark (the latter one’s better, right?). Nag-sharing kami with our answers to these questions:
1.) Who are you?
2.) What do/can you do?
3.) Who are the people who need you?
4.) What do they need from you?
5.) How did their life change because of the things you've done for them?

Sa unang bilang, sino ba me?
Ako si Mary Lou Bonaga, 23 years old from Goa, Camarines Sur. Kasalukuyan akong wala pang employer, pero dati akong program researcher sa isang TV network. May sarili rin akong maliit na negosyo na minamaneho ngayon online.
What I do/can do? I am a full-time daughter sa ngayon. I help my parents sa chores. Nag-aaral din akong magtahi gamit ang sewing machine. Nag-put up din ako ng online store kung saan nagbebenta ako ng preloved na mga damit. Gumagawa rin ako ng voice-over challenges sa TikTok sa free time ko.
Who are the people who need me? Parents ko. They're growing old na kaya I'm spending more time with them. My friends need me too. I listen to their problems and support them with their endeavors.
What do they need from me? They need real friendship from me. Unconditional love din at care.
How did their life change because of the things I've done for them? They've found real friendship and companionship from me. I'm also glad I' have helped them in many ways, even in small things like accompanying them, helping them with their errands, cooking for them, supporting their business, and being real with them.
Ang ganda naman ng CVAP. Day 1 pa lang yan ha. Andami kong na-realize sa mundo. Mas naging thankful ako na andito pa rin ako at lumalaban.
