'The VoiceMaster' makes a Triumphant Stage Comeback, Inspiring Quezon Province Youth through Personal Branding After 3-Year Hiatus


A seminar-workshop focused on the theme "Personal Branding: Explore and Cultivate your Unique Value" recently held at SM City Lucena, leaving attendees feeling inspired and motivated to build their personal brands. The event, organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Lopez, Quezon Branch's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management IV (Cinema 3), aimed to inform and encourage students to discover and enhance their unique personalities and abilities.


The highlight of the seminar was the keynote speaker, “Mr. Pocholo D. Gonzales, widely known as "The VoiceMaster of the Philippines.”



Gonzales captivated the audience as he emphasized the importance of finding purpose in one's life and using the power of one's voice to effect positive change

In a two-hour session, Mr. Gonzales provided valuable insights on personal branding, its benefits, and various strategies for building a powerful personal brand. He also explored the effective use of social media platforms in building a personal brand, which resonated well with participants familiar with the online environment. Adding to the inspiration, Gonzales' apprentices, Jayjay Delos Santos, and Diane Sarmiento, shared their accomplishments under the mentorship of The VoiceMaster, urging students to take their personal branding journey seriously.


The seminar workshop covered two main subjects: Personal Branding and Freelancing and Social Selling. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the definition and advantages of personal branding, as well as strategies for developing a strong personal brand. Furthermore, they learned about leveraging social media platforms and the potential offered by social selling and freelancing, along with the specific skills required in these industries.



The event attracted a total of 400 registered attendees from various schools and organizations. Registration for the seminar workshop cost P500, which included a lanyard, seminar package, refreshments, and a certificate. Participants had the option to pay an additional P600, which included a T-shirt.


To ensure maximum visibility and engagement, the organizers created a dedicated Facebook page where they shared news, updates, videos, photos, and posters related to the event. Additionally, they distributed flyers to potential participants and displayed a vibrant Tarpaulin on the Junior Marketing Executives' bulletin board, catching the attention of passersby.


The seminar and workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session and an event assessment. Participants were encouraged to create their personal portfolios, including their contact details, resumes, and credentials, to showcase their personal brands effectively.


The event left a lasting impact, with attendees expressing their commitment to applying the strategies they acquired to distinguish themselves in future employment opportunities. Inspired to explore and develop their unique personalities and skills, these aspiring professionals are now equipped with the tools to cultivate a strong personal brand, setting themselves apart from the competition and gaining a competitive edge in their chosen careers.
