The Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP) rolled out the red carpet for its much-anticipated CVAP Awards 2023, a spectacular celebration that marked the program’s third anniversary and honored the outstanding achievements of its graduates. Hosted dynamically by Bryan Perez and Navi Garcia, the ceremony showcased the remarkable talent, dedication, and inspiration cultivated within the CVAP community.
Celebrating Three Years of Impact
At the heart of the evening was the recognition of CVAP’s three years of transformative impact. The program has not only trained skilled voice artists but also fostered a thriving community of "voice mates," helping individuals achieve their dreams while nurturing lasting professional relationships. The ceremony highlighted key milestones that illustrate CVAP’s role in empowering artists and amplifying voices across the Philippines.
From Lockdown to Limelight
A poignant moment of the night came from Mr. Jeff Perey, Executive Director of CVAP and an alumnus of the program’s very first batch. Reflecting on the 2020 lockdown, a period many remember as one of “boredom,” Mr. Perey shared how he discovered CVAP and transformed that period of uncertainty into the realization of his childhood dream of becoming a voice artist. His story exemplified CVAP’s mission: to equip individuals to “let your voice be heard” and become agents of positive change in their communities.
