Finding Her Voice: A CVAP Batch 19 Journey of Growth and Purpose

Before joining the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP), she lived the life of a typical college student—balancing academics, friendships, and extracurricular activities. She enjoyed school life and spending time with friends, all while carrying a genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact wherever she could. At that time, voice artistry was not yet part of her plans, nor was she aware of the opportunities that her voice could offer. Her journey toward voice acting began unexpectedly when she joined a one-day “Voice Works” workshop organized by VOTI and CVAP. What initially seemed like a simple learning experience soon became a powerful stepping stone. The workshop opened doors she never knew existed and sparked curiosity about a field she had never explored before. Prior to this, she had little to no knowledge about CVAP or the world of voice artistry, making the experience both surprising and eye-opening. Soon after, she was given the opportunity to become part of CVAP Batch 19, a moment that would mark a turning point in her life. Through the program, she rediscovered her voice and was able to return to broadcasting, something she had not done since junior high school. CVAP gave her the confidence, training, and encouragement to use her voice once again—not just as a skill, but as a tool for expression and service. Beyond personal growth, she became deeply committed to the community that welcomed her. She volunteered her time and efforts to support VOTI and CVAP workshops and activities, seeing them not just as organizations, but as advocacies she truly believed in. This sense of purpose strengthened her connection to the program and allowed her to give back in meaningful ways. Looking back, she expresses heartfelt gratitude to CVAP for the life-changing experience it provided. Through the program, she met new people, formed lasting friendships, and discovered a whole new world she never imagined herself being part of. CVAP helped her see beyond her familiar surroundings and explore a different side of life—one filled with creativity, service, and self-discovery. She ends her journey with a message that perfectly echoes CVAP’s guiding principle: “Someone out there needs to hear my voice.” Through CVAP, she realized that her voice matters—and that it has the power to reach, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of others.
