Empowered to Serve: Joshua Sarmiento’s CVAP Journey

Joshua Sarmiento’s CVAP Journey

For Joshua Sarmiento, who proudly introduces himself as “your awesome voice,” the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP) was more than just a four-week training—it was a season of growth, gratitude, and newfound purpose.

Over the course of four Saturdays in March, Joshua immersed himself in the CVAP experience, learning not only the fundamentals of voice artistry but also practical skills that expanded his confidence and capabilities. As he reflects on his journey, one thing stands out clearly: he learned a lot—not just technically, but personally and spiritually as well.

Lessons Beyond the Microphone

Joshua expresses deep appreciation for the trainers and mentors of the program, describing them as kind, generous, and inspiring individuals. Through their guidance, he gained valuable insights into what it truly means to become a Certified Voice Artist. Their lessons went beyond voice techniques; they emphasized professionalism, discipline, and purpose.

He also shares his gratitude to God for granting him wisdom and guidance throughout the training. For Joshua, faith played a central role in his journey. He believes that divine intervention helped him understand the lessons more clearly and apply them meaningfully in his life.

Mastering Voice and Multimedia Skills

One of the most impactful aspects of the program for Joshua was learning not only how to use his voice effectively but also how to handle audio and video editing. The technical side of voice artistry opened new doors for him. What once may have seemed complicated—working with computers, gadgets, and editing software—became manageable and empowering.

He realized that these skills are not just for professional advancement but also for service. Being involved in church multimedia ministry, Joshua sees how his training can contribute to his community. If there is a need for audio setup, recording, or editing, he now feels capable and confident to step in and help.

The program equipped him with tools that extend beyond the studio. It strengthened his ability to serve wherever his skills are needed.

Using the Voice for Good

At the heart of Joshua’s testimonial is a desire to use his voice for the betterment of others. Whether it’s voice-over work, church service, or community involvement, he wants his voice to carry messages that promote justice, fairness, and positivity.

For him, becoming a Certified Voice Artist is not just about gaining a title—it is about embracing responsibility. He hopes to use his commitment and talents to inspire and uplift people, guided by integrity and faith.

A Future Filled with Purpose

Joshua concludes his reflection with heartfelt gratitude to the Certified Voice Artist Program for giving him the opportunity to learn new things and discover new strengths. The four-week journey may have ended, but the lessons and inspiration continue to shape his path forward.

With strengthened skills, renewed faith, and a clear sense of purpose, Joshua Sarmiento moves ahead confidently—ready to use his “awesome voice” not just as a talent, but as a tool for service and positive change.

As he reminds everyone: keep praying, keep trusting, and continue striving to use your gifts for good.
