Day 1 Blog
She thought us the basic key points about our why, what, who, and how in our career. I realized that I need to be more powerful when it comes to engaging my willpower, I saw their vision, they want to be the leading global network of voice artists. See how powerful is that? I reckoned that I need to stick with my plan, even more, when I hoped for something I should stick to it. I also notice that their mission is for them to provide opportunities for other dreamers who are in need. And even though there's a lot of obstacles on their way, their mission is solid as a rock and the people too, are solid as family.
I also learned the meaning of Voice, Optimism, Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Self-expression, or the V.O.I.C.E.S. It teaches me how to be versatile, and to be more perceptive, to be honorable, to be committed, to shine, and to do my purpose. That is my understanding of the core values of the CVAP family. I also learned the importance of visual branding, there's a relevance in the way of presenting yourself, if a client saw the frame of CVAP on my profile there will be an easy recognition where we will be trusted by the clients because of the said company's reputation.
I also learned the Hornet strategy, where we attack as one, we are presenting our same goals, vision, values, to our clients. So the clients will only rely on us, because of our numbers and reputation. The important one is that someone out there needs to hear my voice. Maybe right now I just don't know it yet but there is someone out there who is just waiting for me to be ready and if that happens then maybe my purpose in life will be clearer.
After that Sir Pocholo begins to talk, although most of his talks I already heard from our Creativoices Internship Program, still, it is just proof that what is he is saying is true. He helped people in need, those people who don't have anyone in this industry, he keeps them to be safe and secured.
Even though it is a long day, I can still remember some of his Pochology, but what I can always remember is that "Availability is the best ability" because why not? I realized that in life there will always be an unexpected turn of events. There's a lot of hard work that will never be recognized, but I know one thing for sure, we should know our purpose, then everything you didn't expect will follow.
We managed to create our group for our break room, we are in group 10 with our mentor Ma'am Gem Reyes, even though we have only a limited time we came up with this brilliant name and way of introducing ourselves. "Tentenententen Vox Populi" I'm the one who suggests the Tentenententen part of the name but it can still be revised. The day went well, the assignments are given to us, it is overwhelming but still worth it, I think. I, personally have so many workloads to do, but I believe that I'm not just going with the flow. I'm the one who is making the wave.
