Day 2 Blog in Certified Voice Artist Program

me with my fellow dreamers...

It is the Day 2 of Certified Voice Artist Programs doesn't miss to make me realized that we are only having 2-3 weeks for this program, even though it is built to found a family in the voice artistry industry. I will definitely be going to miss every single moment of it. The hosts, mentors, and fellow dreamers. I will always cherish the bond that is built every Saturday, I hope it is not just for this month, I hope it will be forever and I will surely cherish it for the rest of my life. It is too early for me to be a sad boy here, so I'm just going to share my Day 2 experience!

First, with his vivid and passionate storytelling Mr. Joshua Anthony Simeon, or The Voice Scout, explains to us how he come up with his brand name and how he became a certified voice artist, he also shared his experienced about his first project as a voice artist, he also didn't expect that there will be a lot of projects that will come in his way. He also shares the 3 T's The time, talent, and treasure, where we need to make time for ourselves to be prepared for projects, and the talent, for us to have our bullets in this industry, and the treasure, or the equipment that we can use, and that will be the serving gun for our journey. He thought us how to improve our vocal performance just by observing our past projects so that we can compare the difference and fill any deficiencies.

Afterward, Sir Pocholo mentioned some of the terms that are important in preserving your voice, and how can you use your voice to create a new character. There are a lot of key points that is surely needed to be taken, and I surely take down notes for that.

"We are the creation of storytelling..."

"Heart of the lion, vision of an eagle, and we attack like hornet..."

As we proceed to our break time, even though I'm eating my lunch, I still talk to my fellow CVAP scholars from our internship program. This kind of bond is exceptional because aside from having a relationship in the whole CVAP family, I also found people who I can trust and believe in, I really like, no, I really love them personally.

Me with my favorite person who is also in this program

The afternoon session begins and Sir Richard Abalos clears a few key points and techniques for voice acting, and the same with Sir Jeff Perey, where he discusses to us the food that we should avoid for the preservation of our voice. And of course the presentation of Ma'am Nikie Esmero, about the niche of us in this industry. Her explanation blew some dust in my mind about the things that I want to focus on.

"The prevention is better than cure..."

I will end this blog with this thought, I really believe that preparation is very essential, for us to avoid repeating and burying our mistakes and errors afterward. But still, I believe in chances, that we can grow even though we fail a lot because there is no such bird who flew on its first try.
