Toyota's MFG Trainers' Convention Ignites Personal Transformation with Inspiring Guest Speakers

Sta. Rosa, Laguna — Toyota's headquarters in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, hosted the MFG (Manufacturing) Trainers' Convention on May 20, 2023, held in the grand TASC Guest Lounge, in honor of HRD Month. The convention carried the provoking theme, "Transcend the Ordinary: The Art of Personal Transformation", aimed to inspire Toyota's MFG trainers and promote self-development.

Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, also known as "The VoiceMaster," was the guest speaker at the convention, bringing energy and motivation to the event. He shared his own inspiring journey of becoming a renowned speaker in the country. Gonzales introduced the "A.C.E. Communicator" principle, which emphasized authenticity, creativity, and enthusiasm. He encouraged the trainers to go beyond traditional training and public speaking methods and become effective communicators.

Gonzales also urged the audience to embrace their uniqueness and appreciate their individual qualities, talents, and experiences. Highlighted six key aspects of personal development, including self-awareness, identity and personality, talents and skills, experiences, and goals and aspirations.

The convention continued with Ada Cuaresma. Ada focused on building trainers' confidence and increasing trainee engagement. Through an interactive workshop, she provided tips on delivering messages effectively and introduced tools to make training sessions more interactive for adult learners.

The event concluded with powerful closing remarks from Toyota's Executive Vice President, Yasuhiro Kutsuki, who reminded the trainers that it is better to try and fail than to not try at all.
