A Journey to One Letter Less: Kuya Intoy’s CVAP Testimony

 Kuya Intoy’s CVAP Testimony

In his heartfelt video titled “A Journey to One Letter Less (My CVAP Testimony)”, Kuya Intoy reflects on his life-changing experience as a member of the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP) Batch 9. What began as a journey into voice artistry turned into something far deeper—an experience centered on personal growth, meaningful relationships, and becoming a better version of oneself.

More Than Voice Training

From the very beginning, Kuya Intoy makes it clear that CVAP is not just a technical voice acting course. While the program teaches vocal techniques and industry fundamentals, its true impact lies in personality development and character formation. For him, CVAP went beyond improving how one sounds—it shaped how one thinks, acts, and connects with others.

Program Structure and First Impressions

The CVAP ran over four Saturdays and included bi-weekly assignments, hands-on projects, a recollection, and intensive learning sessions. One of the earliest signs that this program would be different came even before it officially started: an unexpected pre-program video assignment. This unusual task hinted at the depth, discipline, and commitment that the course would demand, setting the tone for the weeks ahead.

Personal Transformation

As the program progressed, Kuya Intoy noticed changes not only in his voice acting skills but also in his mindset and attitude. CVAP helped him grow as a person—teaching him the value of service, humility, and collaboration. He learned that becoming a “better version” of himself meant being willing to help others and, just as importantly, allowing others to help him in return.

This mutual exchange of support became a defining part of his journey, reinforcing the idea that growth is rarely a solo endeavor.

A Community That Feels Like Family

One of the most powerful aspects of Kuya Intoy’s CVAP experience was the strong sense of community. Throughout the program, friendships were formed, networks were built, and teamwork became second nature. What started as a group of individuals with shared interests eventually grew into a family bound by trust, encouragement, and shared purpose.

For Kuya Intoy, this sense of belonging made the learning experience richer and more meaningful, turning classmates into lifelong connections.

Gratitude and Acknowledgments

Kuya Intoy closes his testimony with deep gratitude for the people who made his CVAP journey possible. He extends heartfelt thanks to the program’s founder, Sir Pocholo “The Voice Master” Gonzales, and Nikki “The Voicing Queen” Esmero for their guidance and vision. He also acknowledges the invaluable support of the program facilitators, Sir Jerich and Sir Chef, as well as Miss Kargy and Bedshe, whose scholarship made his participation possible.

Ready for the Next Chapter

The video concludes with Kuya Intoy standing at the threshold of a new beginning. Having completed CVAP, he confidently steps forward—moving from “CVAP” to “CVA,” from trainee to Certified Voice Artist. With renewed purpose, stronger relationships, and a transformed outlook, he embraces the next chapter of his journey, ready to use his voice not just as a skill, but as a tool for impact.
