The speaker’s journey into voice acting began in 2015, sparked by a deep curiosity and passion for the craft. However, life circumstances soon took her in a different direction. After relocating to a remote farm in Bulacan, her aspirations in voice acting were temporarily set aside as she adjusted to a quieter, more rural way of living. In 2023, driven by a renewed desire for personal and creative growth, she made a deliberate decision to develop her creative skills. This pivotal moment led her back to voice artistry—a path she had long felt connected to but had not yet fully explored. Her search for the right training program introduced her to the Certified Voice Acting Program (CVAP). What immediately stood out to her was the program’s practical, hands-on approach, the credibility and inspiration of its instructors, and the quality of work demonstrated by its graduates. Confident in its value, she applied to the program and committed herself fully, even setting aside the entire month of September to focus on the training. From the very first session, CVAP established itself as more than a technical course. The opening lesson emphasized the importance of having the “right heart set and mindset,” reinforcing the idea that one’s voice is more valuable than money. It is a powerful tool capable of telling meaningful stories, inspiring change, and empowering others. As the sessions progressed, the speaker discovered her niche in voiceovers, where her strengths and natural style aligned. At the same time, she found joy and creative fulfillment in performing character voices, allowing her to explore different dimensions of her vocal abilities. The program encouraged this balance—helping participants identify their strengths while remaining open to creative exploration. Her motivation for joining CVAP extended beyond skill development. She entered the program with a clear purpose: to use her voice to tell stories that matter. In particular, she aspired to support advocacies close to her heart, including poverty alleviation and environmental conservation. Through CVAP, she found a platform that aligned technical excellence with meaningful impact. In reflection, she expresses deep gratitude to the Certified Voice Acting Program for its enriching and transformative experience. She acknowledges the speakers and mentors who generously shared not only their technical expertise but also valuable life lessons. Most of all, she thanks her fellow “voice mates,” whose passion, support, and inspiration made the journey memorable. Through CVAP, the speaker was able to reconnect with her long-held aspiration and transform it into a purposeful creative pursuit—one grounded in skill, advocacy, and the belief that a voice, when used with intention, can truly make a difference.
