CVAP Testimonial
Joining a training program often comes with expectations of learning new skills, meeting mentors, and gaining experience. But for many participants of the Certified Voice Artists Philippines (CVAP) program, the journey becomes something far deeper than just technical training. It becomes a transformative experience shaped by people, shared challenges, and a sense of community.
One participant described the experience with overwhelming gratitude. For them, the CVAP program was not simply about learning voice acting techniques—it was about discovering the power of collaboration and mentorship.
“I’m really, really grateful and amazed by everything I learned—from our mentors, our trainers, Sir Pocholo, my batchmates, and everyone in CVAP,” the participant shared.
What stood out most was not only the talent within the organization but also the culture built around it. Beyond the impressive skills and leadership of those involved, it was the camaraderie and cooperation among participants that made the experience unforgettable.
According to the participant, the program would not have been the same if experienced alone.
“If you go through the program by yourself, just doing things on your own, it wouldn’t feel complete. The people around me brought laughter, challenges, and excitement that gave life to the program.”
These shared moments—whether through collaborative activities, discussions, or overcoming challenges together—created an environment where learning felt dynamic and meaningful.
Another remarkable aspect of the program was the mentorship. Despite the large number of participants, the mentors and trainers made each individual feel seen and supported.
“Usually when you think of mentors or trainers, you imagine one-on-one interactions. There were so many of us—maybe around sixty or more—but somehow they still made us feel like we mattered.”
This ability to connect with every participant left a lasting impact. The mentors were not just instructors; they were guides who encouraged participants to believe in their potential and pursue their aspirations.
Equally significant were the relationships formed among batchmates. Spending time together throughout the program allowed participants to learn not only from mentors but also from each other.
“I learned a lot from my batchmates as well—sometimes even more—because we spent so much time together. We shared ideas, experiences, and support.”
For aspiring voice actors and voice talents in the Philippines, opportunities like this are rare. Many dream of entering the field but often lack access to proper training, mentorship, and industry exposure.
Through CVAP, these aspiring artists were given a platform to grow.
“I’m deeply thankful to Sir Pocholo for creating this opportunity. For most of us, we probably would never have had this kind of chance—to learn voice acting and meet fellow aspiring talents.”
The program did more than teach techniques and complete tasks. It created an environment where individuals could grow both professionally and personally.
Participants gained valuable knowledge, developed confidence in their craft, and built connections that could last beyond the program itself.
Looking back, the participant described the experience as an incredible journey.
“This program was amazing. I learned so much—not just from the lessons, but from the people around me.”
Although the journey has reached its conclusion for now, the memories and lessons remain.
“I even wish I could go back and experience it again as a first-timer. That’s how meaningful it was.”
In the end, the message is simple but powerful: gratitude.
“Thank you so much to CVAP and to everyone involved. It has been an unforgettable journey.”
