A Workshop That Changed My Life: My Journey with the Certified Voice Acting Program

“Hello, I’m Marion Angelica Garcia”—with these words began a story of growth, passion, and transformation. What started as a simple interest in voice acting eventually led to an experience that would change my life for the better. When I first decided to explore voice acting, I spent a long time researching workshops and classes, both local and international. I wanted the right program—one that could truly help me grow. One day, I came across the Certified Voice Acting Program (CVAP), and without hesitation, I decided to enroll. Looking back, it is a decision I have never regretted. At first, I expected CVAP to be like any typical workshop—classes, discussions, and activities. However, I quickly realized that CVAP was completely different. It was not merely a workshop; it was a life-changing experience. Even before formal classes began, CVAP hosted an acquaintance night, ensuring that every participant felt welcomed into the community. This simple yet thoughtful initiative encouraged us to connect with our fellow voice mates and made us feel that we truly belonged. One of the most memorable aspects of the program was its energy. The hosts were incredibly lively and enthusiastic, instantly capturing our attention during every session. Their fun activities and “pakulo” before classes energized everyone and set a positive tone for learning. The trainers were equally remarkable. They were not just instructors, but successful, passionate, and professional voice artists who shared high-quality lessons based on real experience. Beyond teaching voice acting techniques, they imparted valuable life lessons—something that made the program even more meaningful. The mentors also played a crucial role. They were kind, supportive, and always willing to help, ensuring that no one was left behind. Their guidance made the learning process smoother and more enjoyable. The activities in CVAP were both beneficial and enjoyable. They allowed us to hone essential voice acting skills while also giving us the freedom to showcase our creativity and talent. Learning never felt like a chore—it was exciting, fulfilling, and inspiring. CVAP is truly unlike any other workshop. It is open not only to aspiring voice artists, but to anyone who wants to express creativity and grow as a person. The program instills values such as volunteerism, integrity, kindness, dedication, and resilience, shaping participants both professionally and personally. Words cannot fully express my gratitude for this workshop. CVAP did not only help me develop as a voice artist—it helped me become a better individual. To the entire CVAP family, especially Sir Choi, thank you for creating an environment that nurtures growth, passion, and purpose. To everyone reading this: give yourself the chance to grow—not just as a voice artist, but as a person. Enroll in CVAP. I promise, you won’t regret it.`
