Finding My Voice: A Journey Through the Certified Voice Artist Program

A Journey Through the Certified Voice Artist Program

Every journey begins with a single decision. For Erica Ejo, joining the Certified Voice Artist Program (SIVAP) became a life-changing step toward discovering her true potential and learning the power of her voice.

In her testimonial, Erica—also known as Imuton—shares how her journey in SIVAP was not just about learning technical skills in voice artistry. Instead, it became a meaningful experience filled with growth, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. According to her, SIVAP is more than just a training program; it is a family. It is a community that accepts people for who they are, regardless of their background or current situation in life. Inside this community, everyone supports each other, and knowledge is shared freely so that no one is left behind.

One of the most important lessons Erica learned from the program is that learning should never be limited. As mentors often remind their students, growth happens when people continue to explore and challenge themselves. Instead of settling for what they already know, voice artists are encouraged to keep improving and discovering new possibilities. This mindset helped Erica build stronger confidence in herself. Through the program, she developed trust in her abilities and learned to believe that she is capable of doing more than she once thought.

The SIVAP program consists of four sessions that go beyond teaching voice techniques. While participants learn the proper use of their voice and how it can create impact and inspire change, they also develop important personal values. Patience, dedication, and commitment are essential parts of the learning process. Students are given many assignments and tasks that push them to practice and improve continuously. Although the workload can be challenging at times, Erica shares that the experience becomes enjoyable because each task brings new lessons, realizations, and personal growth.

Another value emphasized in the program is sharing knowledge with others. The mentors believe that learning becomes more meaningful when it is passed on to people who need it. As they often say, “sharing is caring.” Because of this principle, SIVAP encourages its members to help one another grow and succeed.

For Erica, passion also plays a crucial role in everything they do. She recalls a lesson shared during her internship at Creative Voice Production: the heart must always be connected to the work. When a person truly loves what they are doing, dedication and commitment naturally follow.

Erica expresses deep gratitude to the mentors and trainers who guided her throughout her journey. She especially thanks the leaders and members of Creative Voice Production who encouraged her to join the program. Their guidance, motivation, and support inspired her to continue moving forward even when challenges appeared. The mentors also taught them an important lesson about failure—that rejection or mistakes do not mean the end. Instead, they are opportunities to learn, improve, and try again until success is achieved.

Looking back on her experience, Erica confidently says that joining SIVAP is something she will never regret. The program not only shaped her voice but also strengthened her character, confidence, and determination. It helped her discover the value of perseverance and the importance of believing in herself.

Today, Erica Ejo from Lian, Batangas proudly carries the title of Certified Voice Artist—a reminder of the journey she took and the lessons she learned along the way. Her story stands as proof that with the right community, guidance, and determination, anyone can find their voice and use it to create meaningful change.
