From Curiosity to Confidence: A CVAP Journey

A participant from CVAP Batch 17 shares an inspiring testimonial about their transformative experience with the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP). From initial curiosity to discovering a new passion, the program offered not only technical skills but also a supportive community that fueled personal and professional growth.

The participant first learned about CVAP during the quarantine period through social media, where a recommendation from Ms. Ispa Castillo encouraged them to explore voice acting. Initially, work commitments and other life priorities delayed their enrollment, but once the opportunity arose with Batch 17, they eagerly joined the program on January 7, marking the beginning of an exciting journey.

Before joining CVAP, the participant considered themselves “not tech-savvy,” relying mainly on social media for communication. The program, however, introduced them to voice recording, basic editing, and online collaboration tools, significantly enhancing their technical abilities.

They faced challenges with weekly assignments, script preparation, and maintaining vocal stamina, but the experience strengthened their resilience and determination. “Every week seemed too short to prepare, but I kept telling myself I can do it,” they shared.

One of the most impactful aspects of CVAP was the sense of camaraderie and supportive network. The participant praised their VR1 voice mates—Jam, Fam, and James Ethan—for encouragement and patience during collaborative projects. They also expressed gratitude to mentors, trainers, and hosts who guided them through lessons, offered tips, and provided unwavering support.

Special acknowledgment was given to Sir Pocholo de Leon Gonzales for creating CVAP and inspiring participants with lessons such as:
“Availability is the best ability.”

These principles, along with mentorship and structured guidance, left a lasting impression on the participant.

CVAP, according to the participant, offered more than technical training—it opened doors to a promising career in voice acting while nurturing confidence, discipline, and creativity. They concluded their testimonial with heartfelt gratitude:
“I thank God for sending people like all of you who helped me grow and create a better version of me. God bless CVAP.”

CVAP proves to be a comprehensive program that equips aspiring voice artists with practical skills, fosters meaningful connections, and cultivates personal growth. For participants like Batch 17, it’s more than training—it’s a journey that transforms curiosity into confidence and creativity in the voice acting world.
