Celebrating VOTY’S 25th AnniVOICEsary!

Last 12th of August, the "Voice of the Youth Network celebrated their 25th AnniVOICEsary" of inspiring the Filipino youth and providing them with stepping stones to further reach their dreams, especially in the voice acting industry. 

The event featured a number of guests that are particularly close- to the heart of The VoiceMaster, Mr. Pocholo De Leon Gonzales. The guests each shared about how voice acting contributed to their journey in the industry, and talked about some of their experiences such as how they conquered the struggles that they faced back when they were still studying and learning the skills they needed for voice acting. 

Before the awarding of the top 10 Outstanding Volunteers of the Year of 2021, the judges for the final round each gave a simple message. It started with Mr. Reynard “Kuya Rey” Francisco ,who also happens to be celebrating his 31st birthday on the same day. He was then followed by one of the Youth Leaders and Student Leaders of the Philippines, Mr. Mark Jacinto and Sydney Joseph Torrenueva. Next to say his message is one of the TAYO Awardees of 2017 and the Founder of Food Rescue Philippines, Mr. Mac Florendo.

The Chairman of the National Youth Commission Mr. Ryan R. Enriquez, was last to give his  speech and message to all youth.

The Voice of the Youth Network recognizes the top finalist from 103 applicants, which went down to 52 candidates and lastly,  the final top 10. Each of the awardees will be receiving an award and a certificate of appreciation for their simple advocacies in life. The finalists also shared some information about their programs which mostly consisted of helping people in the community.

The program ended with Mr. Bryan Dave Perez thanking the people behind the program; from the host, attendees, judges, and especially the awardees. He also gave  a closing message saying, “Do not be afraid to show the world who you are as a person, as long as you do not hurt them on your way to fulfilling your dreams. Dream big, discover your talent and you will succeed in life; and at the end of the day, your passion will lead you to your proper destination."
