When the major outbreak caused by COVID-19 struck, the world came to a halt and changed dramatically. Thousands of people's dreams were disrupted, and emotional demands have increased. Amid the chaos, voices have been so effective in spreading positivity and bonds to make a difference in society.
Certified Voice Artist (CVA) Ms. Janeane Santos, also known as “The Golden Voice” is a registered nurse by profession but started her venture towards becoming a certified voice artist to fulfill another dream of hers.
By July 2020 Ms. Janeane Santos sent a video application to The Voice Acting Academy Philippines intending to become a scholar for the Certified Voice Acting Program (CVAP). Fortunately, she received good news as she passed the qualification. Now, she impresses the radio and commercial industry with her outstanding talent and skills in voice acting.
She had her first talk in May 2021, as one of the speakers of Summer VoicesCON 2021, where she shared her knowledge and experiences to the attendees and wished them luck on their journey and life as great voice artists.

Janeane Santos demonstrated her voice talent by performing the voiceover covers for the Whirlpool Appliances and Jollibee delivery service hotline, which served as one of the many requirements she needed to pass during her CVAP student days. By April 2021, she performed the iconic Jollibee delivery voiceover (originally done by Ms. Kathleen Sone) impression when she guested on the morning show Bagong Gawi of Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM, not as an aspirant, but as a full-fledged voice artist.
She was once a student imitating voice overs but is now in the phase of doing voiceovers for well-known brands such as Megaworld, SM City, Department of Health, and most recently Herbal Essences Shampoo, among others. She has even ventured deeper into the world of voice acting and dubbing, as she also now dubs tagalized Hollywood movies alongside fellow voice artists.
Truly, having a gifted voice is not the only factor that fosters a successful career in voice acting. A voice talent is more than just someone with a great voice: she is a driven individual with boundless ambition, refined talent, and a genuine love for what she does. Ms. Janeane's desire for her dreams led her to where she is now because she is not afraid to pursue what she admires regardless of the risk.
