Last Day!! CVAP Day 4 Experience

 September 25 - Saturday

This day was filled with practice and performances. To start off the day, we practiced tongue twisters as our icebreakers. This means that some of my batchmates were called to introduce themselves and practice by saying one tongue twister ten times. We were also encouraged to practice spiels in our own time.
Next, we had a speaker that talked about how the Certified Voice Artist Program is only the beginning of our journey as this will open doors to bigger opportunities. We then had Mr. Pocholo as our speaker. He showed us their recording and editing studios as well as the equipment needed to create a home studio.

We then spoke about the industry and how we should all support and bring up each other as one pride and pack. As we stay with CVAP, we will be open to opportunities, celebrate each other’s wins, and aim for the growth of the organization as a whole.

After the lunch break, Miss Nikie spoke about our individual mission, vision, and niche. Niche means to focus on a specific part of the voicing industry based on how well you can control and change your voice. I decided to focus on commercial, advertisement, and promotional voice overs that are in need of a female voice for young adults or adults. Next, we talk about how to take action towards our goal to be freelancers. We were told to create your website, Facebook page, and accounts in freelancing websites.

Some freelancing websites are stated below:
NOTE: Facebook Page should be for business purposes only and not for personal use.

To end the day, we were given a breakout room task to enact a script from an existing movie and present it to our batchmates to practice our dubbing. For our group, we used a spiel from inside out so all 10 members would have character to play.
