Ferrer’s Inspiring Journey
Every journey toward success begins with a single opportunity. For Jessica Ferrer, that opportunity came through the Creativoices Internship Program, where she started her path as an intern and eventually discovered her passion for voice artistry.
Jessica began her journey eager to learn and gain experience in the creative industry. As part of the internship program, she was exposed to different opportunities that allowed her to develop her communication and hosting skills. One of the most memorable moments in her journey came when she was given the chance to host the 25th Boaty Anniversary, an event that became her breakthrough moment.
During the event, Jessica had the privilege of working alongside professionals who had years of experience in the field. Many of them were also graduates of the same program she had joined, which made the experience even more inspiring for her. Being surrounded by skilled individuals challenged her to perform at her best and gave her a glimpse of what she could achieve in the voice industry.
After the successful event, Jessica received a message that would change her life. Voice Master Pocholo “Choi” Gonzales, a respected figure in the voice acting industry, personally reached out to her. He shared that he saw potential in her and generously offered her a scholarship to officially join the Certified Voice Artist Program.
This opportunity marked a significant turning point in Jessica’s journey. She recognized that she would not have reached that moment without the guidance and support of the people who helped her along the way. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Arisa, who supervised the interns, as well as Papa Lem, Sir Brian, and Sir Pocholo, and all the people who believed in her and supported her throughout her journey.
Now officially part of the Certified Voice Artist (CVA) family, Jessica describes her experience as both fulfilling and transformative. Through the program, she gained valuable knowledge about voice techniques, strategies, and practical tips that she can apply in her future career.
More than just technical skills, the program also taught her important life lessons. Jessica learned how to stay confident even in uncomfortable situations, think creatively when faced with challenges, and push beyond limits she once believed were impossible to overcome.
The journey was not always easy. There were moments when she doubted herself and questioned whether she was capable of achieving her dreams. However, instead of giving up, she chose to keep moving forward. She also gave herself credit for having the courage and determination to continue despite those doubts.
Jessica believes that her growth did not only come from lessons and discussions but also from the experiences she gained along the way. Through the program, she met people from different backgrounds, each with their own inspiring stories and journeys. These interactions helped shape her perspective and motivated her to keep pursuing her passion.
For Jessica, the CVA family became more than just a community of voice artists—it became a support system. It is a place where she found people who encourage her to continue doing what she loves while inspiring others with her voice.
Today, Jessica continues her journey with a clear purpose: to use her voice not only for personal fulfillment but also to inspire and empower others. She believes that success is not measured only by achievements but also by the effort and dedication placed into the journey.
