From Intern to Inspired: JP Villanueva’s Journey with the Certified Voice Artist Program

JP Villanueva’s Journey with the Certified Voice Artist Program

For JP Villanueva, the journey into the world of voice artistry began with a simple goal: to complete his internship and graduate from his course. Like many students, he initially saw his on-the-job training (OJT) as just another requirement he needed to fulfill before finishing his studies. At the time, his focus was simply on completing the necessary tasks so he could move forward with graduation.

However, everything changed when he became part of the workshop under the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP). What started as a routine internship quickly transformed into a meaningful experience that reshaped his perspective not only on voice artistry but also on mentorship, generosity, and community.

JP recalled that during the workshop, he began to realize how deeply the program cared for its students. With nearly a hundred participants in the program, each one was still given the opportunity to learn and grow. Despite the large number of students, the mentors made sure that everyone felt included and supported.

One of the most remarkable things JP witnessed was how many students were offered pre-scholarships. Nearly half of the participants received financial assistance, giving them the chance to continue learning despite challenges. For JP, this was a powerful demonstration of the program’s commitment to helping aspiring voice artists pursue their dreams.

He especially expressed his gratitude to Voice Master Pocholo Gonzales, whose dedication to supporting students left a lasting impression. In JP’s eyes, it is rare to find a company or organization that is genuinely willing to help so many people, particularly during difficult times. During the pandemic, when many individuals were struggling financially, opportunities like this meant even more.

Beyond the financial support, what truly made the experience unforgettable was the sense of care and guidance that the mentors provided. According to JP, once someone becomes part of CVAP, they are never left behind. The mentors openly share everything they know with their students, ensuring that every participant gains valuable knowledge and skills.

The workshops themselves became something JP looked forward to every week. Every Saturday session was filled with learning, excitement, and memorable moments. The environment was not only educational but also joyful, making the experience both productive and enjoyable.

Over time, the group of participants grew closer to one another. What started as a classroom of individuals slowly transformed into a community that felt like a family. The students treated each other like siblings, supporting one another as they worked toward their dreams. This strong sense of camaraderie became one of the most meaningful parts of the journey.

For JP, CVAP was not just a training program—it was a place where people uplift each other and work together toward shared goals. The program taught him that success is not achieved alone; it is built through cooperation, encouragement, and mutual support.

Looking back at his experience, JP encourages others not to hesitate when given the chance to join the program. For those who have not yet experienced the CVAP workshop, he believes it is an opportunity worth taking. According to him, participants will not only gain valuable skills but also discover new possibilities for themselves.

His journey is proof that what begins as a simple internship can turn into a life-changing experience. Through CVAP, JP Villanueva found more than just training—he found inspiration, community, and a renewed sense of purpose in pursuing his dreams.
