Natasha’s Journey in the Certified Voice Artist Program
Every journey begins with a small moment of uncertainty. For Natasha, that moment started with a simple question she asked herself before recording her testimonial: “Okay lang ba yung itsura ko ngayon?” Like many beginners stepping into a new field, she felt nervous and unsure. But behind that hesitation was a story of courage, growth, and discovering her voice through the Certified Voice Artist Program (Batch 12).
Discovering the Opportunity
Natasha’s journey began when someone she considers a mentor—almost like a father figure—invited her to apply for a scholarship in the program. At the time, she was involved in modeling under an organization connected to him. Encouraged by the opportunity, she decided to apply even though she had very little experience in voice acting.
To her surprise and excitement, she was accepted on her first try.
Despite this achievement, Natasha still felt anxious during the acquaintance session. Listening to her fellow participants introduce themselves made her doubt whether she truly belonged there. Many of them already had experience—some had podcasts, others had done live hosting, and several were already involved in voice-related work.
Natasha, on the other hand, only practiced voice acting casually on TikTok.
Yet even with those doubts, she chose to continue.
Learning Through the Sessions
As the sessions began, Natasha slowly started to enjoy the program. The discussions were lively, engaging, and filled with energy from the hosts and mentors. Their storytelling and humor made the learning environment comfortable and enjoyable.
Although she wasn’t able to attend every session fully—sometimes joining through Facebook Live due to personal commitments—she still absorbed the lessons and appreciated every opportunity to learn.
For Natasha, the experience proved that learning doesn’t always require perfect attendance or perfect circumstances. What mattered most was the willingness to grow.
A Breakthrough in Confidence
One of the most memorable moments of Natasha’s journey came during their batch recital. She volunteered to join the commercial team and even took on the responsibility of editing their project.
Working alongside talented teammates, including Athena Rizal, Natasha saw how collaboration could elevate everyone’s performance. When she compared her final commercial output with the assignment she created during the first day of training, the difference was clear.
Her improvement was undeniable.
For the first time, she felt proud of her work. The experience showed her that skill doesn’t always come from years of experience—sometimes it grows from dedication, practice, and believing in yourself.
Unexpected Opportunities
Because of her efforts and participation in the program, Natasha began receiving compliments about her voice and performance. One surprising moment came when Choi Go-sung noticed her work and added her on Facebook.
Soon after, she was invited to join Voice of the Youth Network, an opportunity she never expected.
For someone who once doubted whether she even belonged in the program, this recognition meant everything. Natasha realized that even without prior professional experience, her potential could still be seen by others.
A Bittersweet Ending
As the final assignment approached—her testimonial video—Natasha felt both grateful and emotional. The sessions that once felt long now seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye.
She remembered how she initially hoped to make many friends in the program. While she may not have formed a large circle, she still built meaningful connections with her teammates and classmates.
The experience left a lasting impact on her.
Inspiring the Next Batch
Because of everything she learned, Natasha now hopes to encourage others to join future batches of the program. For someone who started with zero experience, the Certified Voice Artist Program became a place where she discovered her abilities and gained confidence in her voice.
Her story reminds aspiring voice artists that everyone starts somewhere. Talent may open doors, but courage and willingness to learn are what truly make the journey worthwhile.
As she proudly introduces herself at the end of her testimonial, Natasha signs off as someone who is soon to be an officially certified voice artist—a title she once doubted she could achieve.
And perhaps the most powerful lesson she learned is this: sometimes, all it takes is the courage to try, even when you feel unsure.
